ShipStation leads the e-commerce world with our web-based software designed to make e-commerce retailers exceptionally efficient at processing, fulfilling, and shipping their orders from all the most popular marketplaces and shopping carts using all the top carriers.

The Problem

ShipStation has multiplied its size and we are rapidly growing and so is our AWS costs & complexity. With AWS costs trend in the wrong direction and expense growing well into mid-seven figures, we knew that we needed to act. At first, we purchased the top recommended Cloud Management Tool but quickly found out that the recommendations were not actionable and often unwieldy to implement for our needs. Overall the results were not to our satisfaction and the overhead for managing our AWS costs was still too high.
